ACS refurbished this detached stucco house which consisted of three storeys, attic and basement in West London’s Holland Park. The client was an Ambassador from a foreign government and this project marked the start of a long-standing relationship which included the creation of a new embassy in W1 and new consulate for the same government. The mews was refurbished and converted into accommodation.

The building is Grade II listed and some original features were retained and restored including the wrought and cast iron glazed canopy, fireplaces, internal decorative plaster features, timber panelling and timber window shutters. The scope of refurbishment included damp works to the basement, roofing and render repairs, a new lift, new kitchens, bathrooms and finishes throughout.
