Project Description

This project delivered two new-build teaching blocks totalling 1,700m² at Capel Manor College’s South London agricultural campus. The facilities include classrooms, science laboratories, animal handling areas, an exotics centre, a two-storey glazed atrium reception, kitchen and canteen, library and ancillary spaces. Achieving BREEAM Excellent, the scheme incorporated highly sustainable construction methods and energy-efficient MEP installations, including air source heat pumps and extensive PV panels. Completed over a number of academic terms on a live campus, the works were carefully managed to minimise disruption to staff and students
